A Brief History Of The Penang Buddhist Association Kindergarten
Penang Buddhist Association Kindergarten started pre-school education in 1964 at a small bungalow at 67 Perak Road . As the years went by the kindergarten became more popular and the building became too small to accommodate the increasing demand for places in the school. Thus in 1982 the Association tore down the back portion of the bungalow and built a hall, canteen and 6 classrooms which were completed in 1983. However the enrolment of the school kept increasing . The Association ,encouraged by the ever-increasing enrolment decided to give the school a new facelift . Hence in 1993 the front portion of the building was torn down and replaced with a new building consisting of six classrooms, a library, a staffroom and a children's playground.
槟城佛学院幼稚园创立于1964年，位于霹雳律门牌六十七号的独立洋房。由于学生人数逐年增加以致课室不足；幼稚园于一九八二年扩建，增加了一个礼堂，一个食堂及六间课室。然而由于学生人数的剧增，佛学院终于一九九三年在原址重建了一座双层新校舍；再增加六间课室，一间图书馆，一间办公室及户外游戏场。
